Linda
St. Clair paints the rural scene and its denizens
with skill and love. Her oil paintings have
won her many honors and she has exhibited
nationally at such shows as the Buffalo Bill
Art Show in Cody, Wyoming, the Audubon Artists
Annual Exhibition in New York and the Salmagundi
Club in New York. Linda is the recipient of
two Grumbacher gold medals as well as being
in the collections of Bill Marriot of Marriot
Hotels and Senator Allen Simpson of Wyoming.
"I feel that for many people, landscapes
are important to resurrect memories of a time
when urbanization was not nearly so pervasive,
when people were more at ease with nature."
Linda grew up on a farm in Tennessee, but
now lives in Monte Vista, Colorado with her
husband Dean, who is also an artist.
