"I want
you the viewer to use your imagination when
looking at my works, as I use imagination
to create them. The joy is taking a seed of
an idea and having it grow in front of me.
The range and style is from water color to
oil - from pencil to pen. The subject dictates
the medium. Painting a landscape is a rewarding
challenge - to capture the ever changing shifts
in weather. The great outdoors adds a freshness
that can't be found in the studio work. I
have found that working in more than one medium
allows me more room for growth. Primary concerns
are composition, draftsmanship, and techniques.
I have no set formula in working as I would
rather create as my feelings dictate."
