Gary Niblett's art is a celebration
of life, capturing the simple beauty found
in the everyday moment. His work portrays
the quiet fortitude that tamed the Western
Frontier, Reminding the viewer that it is
in the aftermath rather than the storm that
strength of character is often found.
Having been born and raised in the small town
of Carlsbad, New Mexico, this affection for
the less complicated life is the fiber of
Niblett's being. Although he began his career
as a commercial illustrator, Western Art has
always been his first love, and dedication
to accurately portraying this way of life
won him a coveted membership in the prestigious
Cowboy Artists of America in 1975. Since then,
his work has recieved both national and
international acclaim.
Gary's paintings have been exhibited at the
Royal Watercolor Society, in London, England,
The Grand Palais in Paris, France, The Amerika
Haus in Berlin, Germany and the major exhibit
halls of Russia and China.
