For more than
25 years, E. Denney NeVille of Byron, Wyoming,
has been a professional artist. He earned
a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with honors
from the Art Center College of Design in Los
Angeles, California. He spent several years
in California as an illustrator of military
hardware and an assistant animator. In 1970
he moved to Red Lodge, Montana, and worked
with Stan Lynde on the nationally syndicated
Rick O'Shay comic strip.
NeVille also writes and illustrates humorous
stories, such as Testing the Legend of William
F. Cody- a humorous mixture of truth and fiction
about his grandfather's attempt as a young
boy to sneak up on Colonel Cody and surprise
him.
NeVille's paintings are in collections in
the United States and Canada. He won "Best
of Show" at the 1982 C.M. Russell Art
Show and has had three paintings in the "Artists
of America" calendar.
