Dave McGary was born the son of a ranching family in Cody, Wyoming.  At the age of 16, he was one of four students that went to Italy to study bronze casting for two years.  When returning home, he spent the next three years working to develop his own style and techniques.  McGary has become known throughout the country and internationally for his highly detailed bronzes of Native American figures.

Dave is considered the Master of Realism depicting Native American Indians and his many awards during the past decade more than verify his popularity amony collectors and fellow artists.  His ability to capture the human spirit knows no equal, and his attention to detail in form and historic content are exhilararing.

The Big Horn Galleries is pleased to represent sculptor Dave McGary
