DAVE HALL

Big Horn Galleries is proud to represent the artwork of Dave Hall

Dave's unique landscapes are influenced by Utah artist and friend Connie Borup, Mark Rothko, Wolf Kahn, Russell Chatham, the Impressionists, and the American tonalists George Inness and Albert Ryder.

"I am moved by the half-light of dawn and dusk, and my paintings are inspired by the Greater Yellowstone country of Montana, Wyoming and Idaho.  A piece of my heart resides there, due in large part to the poetry associated with the convergence of family and friends, moving water and mayfly hatches

Dave is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and Yale University's School of Forestry and Enviornmental Studies and splits his time between Salt Lake City and Montana's Madison Valley.
